Ordyn Technologies is starting to target the telecom market in Indonesia. According to their plan, the Bangalore-based, Indian telecom solution provider will build a telecom device manufacturing facility and will target WiMAX-based Internet service operators. Ordyn Technologies Chief Operations Officer R. Srinivasan said Indonesia is a rapidly growing telecom market. His company will manufacture WiMAX chipsets that adhere to the IEEE 802.16e technical standard, access devices and microwave radio equipment. PT Ordyn Technologies Indonesia President Director Indrajaya Putra Januar said Ordyn targets new and growing operators and Internet service providers (ISP). Srinivasan and Indra were optimistic that WiMAX technology will grow considering that this technology is more effective, cheaper and more suitable for rural areas like Indonesia.
