Synopsis
Ordyn Technologies, a provider of telecommunications solutions wants to cooperate with the Indonesian State-Owned Electricity Company for Broadband Over Power Line (BPL). The company has entered Indonesia by offering WiMAX-based telecommunication solutions to penetrate rural areas. In rural areas, utilizing this technology for internet access may at times be difficult, as many have not been reached by telecom services. The President Director of Ordyn Technologies Indonesia recently said that efforts to speed up internet penetration in rural areas would be more likely over BPL since these areas control their own electricity grids similar to Java island.
