Synopsis
The Government is allowing opportunities of worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) for nomadic and mobile standards as long as there is a mass production assurance for both standards. Nomadic WiMAX service is the focus for users having infrequent moving rates and low moving speeds. Mobile WiMAX is allocated for WiFi terminal users of notebooks, personal digital assistants or small smart cellular phones that have mobility levels equal to WiFi. One WiMAX device producer Ordyn Technologies, intends to build a chipset plant in Indonesia.
