Vinod Babu
Co-founder and Chief System Architect

Vinod Babu is the Chief Architect of Ordyn Technologies. As Chief Architect, Vinod provides guidance in the product design and engineering effort to realize high quality systems that address customers’ requirements and fits their business context. He ensures that the architectural and technology strategies employed by his team stay in close alignment with the short and long term business objectives of Ordyn. At Ordyn, Vinod is responsible for the FPGA/VLSI group, which rolls out IP cores for many of Ordyn’s products. In addition, Vinod also works with Ordyn’s business development team to offer appropriate and optimized solutions to Ordyn’s customers.

Prior to co-founding Ordyn, Vinod worked for Deccanet Designs (now Flextronics) in its telecom products division. As a member of Deccanet’s overseas business development team he led Deccanet’s accounts with US-based product companies which included Hughes Network Systems, Tiara Networks (now Tasman Networks) and Armillaire Technologies.

Vinod has over 12 years experience in the telecom industry and has a proven track record of short term delivery and long term Architectural success. He has extensive experience in the areas of System Architecture, VLSI Design, Cost Engineering and Advanced Transmission and Distribution technologies.

Vinod completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam with Gold Medal honors.
